For my birthday this year I’m asking you to celebrate with me by supporting my joy, my work and my communities. Each day I’ll be sharing one simple thing that you can do to support me in each of these areas.
My hope is that this will give those of you who have been wanting to pour into me explicit ways that you can do that. I’m also excited to take this as an opportunity to reintroduce myself. I’ve lived most of my life cycling between realities, between communities that rarely overlapped. Now for the first time my communities are coming into contact with each other. Each point of contact reveals more about who I am and how I move through the world. I hope that you will join me and I look forward to getting to know more about each of you.
1 a bouncing round photo of me smiling to myself in a silver sequined mini dress is crowned by the golden words “come celebrate with me.” Below the photo written in gold script are the words : “ 31 to 31.”
